This is the moistest cake you&#8217;ll ever eat. It freezes beautifully.\u00a0 You can use different nuts too.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients for Cake:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 c. chopped\u00a0macadamia nuts<\/li>\n<li>1 (18 \u00bd oz) pkg. yellow cake mix<\/li>\n<li>1 (3 \u00be oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c. cold water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c. oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c. dark rum (80 proof)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions for Cake:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Grease and flour 10-inch tube or 12 cup Bundt pan.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all cake ingredients together.<\/li>\n<li>Pour batter over nuts.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 1 hour.<\/li>\n<li>Cool.<\/li>\n<li>Invert on serving plate.<\/li>\n<li>Prick top.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle and smooth glaze evenly over top and sides.<\/li>\n<li>Allow cake to absorb glaze.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat until glaze is used up.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Ingredients for Glaze for Rum Cake:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bc lb. butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc c. water<\/li>\n<li>1 c. sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c. rum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions for Glaze:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Melt butter in saucepan.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in water and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in rum.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong>\u00a0 10 &#8211; 12<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0cooks.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nothing wrong with using cake mix &#8211; time is money and there are so many other things to cook.\u00a0 Not\u00a0a rum drinker\u00a0you can still enjoy this tasty cake.
