{"id":5505,"date":"2018-03-15T13:50:54","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T19:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=5505"},"modified":"2018-03-15T13:50:54","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T19:50:54","slug":"roasted-green-beans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/roasted-green-beans.html","title":{"rendered":"Roasted Green Beans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Another roasted vegetable.\u00a0 They really are better than boiled or microwaved.\u00a0 You can add Parmesan cheese, and\/or lemon.<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 1\/4 lbs green beans &#8211; frozen or fresh<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 -2 tablespoon olive oil (or just enough to lightly coat beans)<\/li>\n<li>1 &#8211; 1 1\/2 tsp kosher salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp coarse ground pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 pinch red pepper flakes<\/li>\n<li>2 Tab balsamic vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F.<\/li>\n<li>Wash, dry well, and trim green beans.
