Do as you wish.\u00a0 It may become your &#8220;Signature Dish&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 lb Fettuccine noodles<\/li>\n<li>1 stick butter<\/li>\n<li>1 cup heavy cream<\/li>\n<li>Salt and freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li>2 cups freshly grated Parmesan<\/li>\n<li>Pasta cooking water, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions in a saucepan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a saucepan or skillet, warm the butter and cream.<\/li>\n<li>Simmer about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Season with salt and pepper. Add the Parmesan and stir until melted.<\/li>\n<li>Toss to combine, thinning with pasta water if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Directions in a bowl:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cook pasta according to package directions.<\/li>\n<li>In a saucepan or skillet, warm butter and cream. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Grate Parmesan cheese and place half of it into a large serving bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Pour warm butter\/cream mixture over the top.\u00a0 Don\u2019t stir it.
