{"id":5877,"date":"2018-05-16T10:51:21","date_gmt":"2018-05-16T16:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=5877"},"modified":"2018-05-16T10:51:21","modified_gmt":"2018-05-16T16:51:21","slug":"cranberry-mustard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/cranberry-mustard.html","title":{"rendered":"Cranberry Mustard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The cheater version works great &#8211; good on a turkey sandwich or a ham sandwich.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd red onion, diced<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>2 c fresh cranberries<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c apple cider vinegar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd\u00a0 c water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp cracked pepper<\/li>\n<li>\u2153 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 Tab whole mustard seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 Tab ground mustard<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp ground allspice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a medium sized heavy bottom pot, saut\u00e9 the onion over medium high heat until just tender, about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add the remaining ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>Stir to combine.<\/li>\n<li>Bring to a simmer, cover.<\/li>\n<li>Turn heat to low for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Turn heat off, leave covered and let stand for one hour.<\/li>\n<li>Check consistency.
