{"id":6414,"date":"2018-08-13T16:04:51","date_gmt":"2018-08-13T22:04:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=6414"},"modified":"2018-08-13T16:04:51","modified_gmt":"2018-08-13T22:04:51","slug":"cathys-sauteed-mushrooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/cathys-sauteed-mushrooms.html","title":{"rendered":"Cathy&#8217;s Sauteed Mushrooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Another great variation on sauteed mushrooms.\u00a0 The cheese is an unexpected taste treat &#8211; sort of like stuffed mushrooms (the appetizer) only in sauce form.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 lbs mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>2 Tab olive oil (more if needed)<\/li>\n<li>2 Tab butter (more if needed<\/li>\n<li>1 lb Parmesan cheese &#8211; shredded<\/li>\n<li>basil &#8211;\u00a0 fresh if possible<\/li>\n<li>red pepper flake<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wash and trim the mushrooms.<\/li>\n<li>Pat dry on paper towels.<\/li>\n<li>Coarse chop if large.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil and butter in saute pan.<\/li>\n<li>Saute until most of the moisture is boiled off.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off heat.<\/li>\n<li>Add cheese, basil, red pepper.<\/li>\n<li>Stir to mix.\u00a0 Do not over-cook or the cheese will melt and make a big mess!<\/li>\n<li>Serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a08 &#8211; 10<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Cathy Painter<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another great variation on sauteed mushrooms.\u00a0 The cheese is an unexpected taste treat &#8211; sort of like stuffed mushrooms (the appetizer) only in sauce form.
