{"id":709,"date":"2014-09-26T13:57:07","date_gmt":"2014-09-26T19:57:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=709"},"modified":"2016-03-08T14:08:49","modified_gmt":"2016-03-08T21:08:49","slug":"prosciutto-wagon-wheels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/prosciutto-wagon-wheels.html","title":{"rendered":"Prosciutto Wagon Wheels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\"><em>Anything with puff pastry looks fancy, add prosciutto and you have a winner!<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 box frozen puff pastry (17 \u00bc oz, 2 sheets) thawed<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 c Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li>\u00be lb prosciutto, very thinly sliced, divided (easiest to use pre-packaged)<\/li>\n<li>2 c provolone cheese, shredded, divided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Work with 1 sheet of puff pastry, keeping remaining sheet wrapped and cold.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out 1 sheet of puff pastry on floured surface to a 14 inch square.<\/li>\n<li>Brush with a thin layer of mustard.<\/li>\n<li>Cover with half the prosciutto slices, slightly overlapping and leaving a \u00bd inch border around the edges. \u00a0(Transfer prosciutto on paper and then remove paper.)<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with one cup on the cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Roll pastry tightly.<\/li>\n<li>Pinch seams to seal.<\/li>\n<li>Chill 1 hour.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat with remaining sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven 425\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Grease large baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Cut rolls into \u00bd inch slices and place cut side up (discard ends) and place 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 10 \u2013 15 minutes or until golden brown.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Serves: <\/b>50 pieces<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Source: <\/b>Bless the Cook &#8211; St Thomas Episcopal Church, Sun Valley, Idaho<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"LEFT\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anything with puff pastry looks fancy, add prosciutto and you have a winner!
