The recipe is the product of her mother&#8217;s idea, the chef&#8217;s final combination of ingredients, and Georgann&#8217;s title. The name was a joke reflecting her father&#8217;s 50 years as a sheep rancher. Try it, it&#8217;s great and you can freeze some of it for later.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 oz water packed artichoke hearts<\/li>\n<li>6 oz asiago or parmesan cheese<\/li>\n<li>3 oz fresh spinach, washed and patted dry (no stems)<\/li>\n<li>1 pt half and half<\/li>\n<li>20 oz sour cream<\/li>\n<li>24 oz cream cheese (the block kind-not whipped)<\/li>\n<li>8 oz whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>pita chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Blend together all ingredients, except pita chips, in food processor or blender until smooth (you will still have chunks of artichoke).<\/li>\n<li>Place in heatproof dish.<\/li>\n<li>Heat 350\u00b0 until hot \u2013 about 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Serve warm in chaffing dish with pita chips.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Serves: <\/b>3 quarts of dip<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Source: <\/b>West of the Rockies, Recipes From Campfire to Candlelight &#8211; Junior Service League of Grand Junction, Colorado<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Notes:<\/strong> \u00a0The dip was a little soupie.
