{"id":7317,"date":"2019-04-11T13:01:44","date_gmt":"2019-04-11T19:01:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=7317"},"modified":"2019-04-11T13:01:44","modified_gmt":"2019-04-11T19:01:44","slug":"classic-meatloaf-like-my-mother-used-to-make","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/classic-meatloaf-like-my-mother-used-to-make.html","title":{"rendered":"Classic Meatloaf Like My Mother Used to Make"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>I know, it is NOT the right meatloaf like YOUR mother made.\u00a0 But it is what my mother (and I) do.\u00a0 So there!\u00a0 Our biggest disagreement was pickles\/no pickles in our meatloaf sandwiches the next day<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-1\/2 lbs lean ground beef<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 C Quaker\u00ae Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)\u00a0 (We just used a large handful for each pound of beef)<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 C finely chopped onion\u00a0 (or 1\/2 c dried onions, or 2 Tab onion soup mix)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 Cup ketchup<\/li>\n<li>1 egg, lightly beaten<\/li>\n<li>1 Tab Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 cloves garlic, minced (or a lot of garlic salt, skip regular salt)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 tsp black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven to 350\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Combine all ingredients in large bowl;
