Try these crunchy treats. Remember, there are approximately 20 sheets of dough in each 1\/2 pound of filo dough.\u00a0 As long as you are at it, make more! They have a way of disappearing.\u00a0 Multiply by 4 and you should be good to go.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 sheets phyllo dough<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c butter, melted (1\/4 lb)<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>2 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped (more if you dip them as deep as you can and still hold on to them.)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon shortening<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 ounce white baking chocolate, melted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Place one sheet of phyllo dough on a work surface.<\/li>\n<li>Brush with butter.<\/li>\n<li>Cover with a second sheet of phyllo.<\/li>\n<li>Brush with butter. (Keep remaining phyllo dough covered with plastic wrap and a damp towel to prevent it from drying out.)<\/li>\n<li>Cut phyllo lengthwise in half.<\/li>\n<li>Cut each half crosswise into five rectangles (4-1\/2&#215;2-3\/4 in.).<\/li>\n<li>Tightly roll up rectangles jelly-roll style, starting with a long side.<\/li>\n<li>Mix sugar and cinnamon.<\/li>\n<li>Lightly brush sticks with butter.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with 1-1\/2 teaspoons sugar mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Place on an ungreased baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>Bake until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove to a wire rack to cool.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat with remaining ingredients.<\/li>\n<li>In a microwave, melt semisweet chocolate and shortening.<\/li>\n<li>Stir until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Dip one end of each phyllo stick in chocolate.<\/li>\n<li>Allow extra to drip off.<\/li>\n<li>Place on waxed paper.<\/li>\n<li>Let stand until set.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle with white chocolate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Makes 20 rolls<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:<\/strong>\u00a0 Taste of Home<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking for a little something special to share with friends or family?
