{"id":739,"date":"2014-09-26T13:58:14","date_gmt":"2014-09-26T19:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=739"},"modified":"2015-03-30T16:01:54","modified_gmt":"2015-03-30T22:01:54","slug":"eggnog-shooters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/eggnog-shooters.html","title":{"rendered":"Eggnog Shooters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\"><em>These turned out to be rather fun and different. \u00a0If you have shot glasses &#8211; even better.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 \u00bd c water<\/li>\n<li>6 unflavored gelatin powder envelopes<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd c sweetened condensed milk<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00bc c prepared eggnog<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bd c brandy<\/li>\n<li>nutmeg ground<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd pt whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbs powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>132 plastic spoons &#8211; red or green<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pour water in saucepan and sprinkle with gelatin.<\/li>\n<li>Allow to soak for a minute or two.<\/li>\n<li>Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin is fully dissolved \u2013 about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in the sweetened condensed milk.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from heat and add the eggnog and brandy, stirring to fully incorporate.<\/li>\n<li>Pour into 9&#215;13 glass pan and refrigerate until fully set, several hours or overnight.<\/li>\n<li>Cut 11 x 12 into \u00be\u201d x 1\u201d rectangles.<\/li>\n<li>Lightly dust rectangles with nutmeg.<\/li>\n<li>Place rectangle on a plastic spoon.<\/li>\n<li>Whip cream with powdered sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Place a small rosette of whip cream on eggnog rectangles with frosting tip.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate.<\/li>\n<li>Serve spoons of shooters on tray.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Serves: <\/b>132 spoons<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Source: <\/b> Jelly Shot Test Kitchen<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"LEFT\"><\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These turned out to be rather fun and different. \u00a0If you have shot glasses &#8211; even better.
