{"id":8080,"date":"2020-01-15T18:29:42","date_gmt":"2020-01-16T01:29:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=8080"},"modified":"2023-04-13T15:48:20","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T21:48:20","slug":"mini-puff-pastry-tartlets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/mini-puff-pastry-tartlets.html","title":{"rendered":"Mini Puff  Pastry Tartlets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Sometimes, big desserts are just too much&#8230;so\u00a0 these easy-to-make, individually-sized cheesecakes with a puff pastry crust. give you just\u00a0 bite of sweet.\u00a0 Or, imagine a tray of tartlets with strawberry, kiwi, orange, cherry, crushed toffy, or&#8230;or&#8230;or.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 of a 17.3-ounce package puff pastry sheets(1 sheet), thawed<\/li>\n<li>1 egg, beaten<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 c cream cheese, softened<\/li>\n<li>3 Tab powdered sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c thawed frozen whipped topping<\/li>\n<li>36 fresh raspberries or mini semi-sweet chocolate pieces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat the oven to 375\u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.<\/li>\n<li>Roll the pastry sheet into an 18&#215;9 inch rectangle.<\/li>\n<li>Cut into 18 (3-inch) squares.<\/li>\n<li>Press the pastry squares into 18 muffin-pan cups.<\/li>\n<li>Brush the edges of the pastries with the egg.<\/li>\n<li>Prick the centers of the pastries with a fork.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 10 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Using the back of a spoon, press down the centers of the hot pastries to make an indentation.<\/li>\n<li>Let the pastries cool in the pans on wire racks for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the tartlet shells from the pans and let cool completely on wire racks.<\/li>\n<li>Beat the cream cheese in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Beat in the confectioners&#8217; sugar and vanilla extract.<\/li>\n<li>Fold in the whipped topping.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture into each tartlet shells.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate for 10 minutes or until the filling is firm.<\/li>\n<li>Top each pastry with 2 raspberries or a few chocolate chips.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with additional confectioners&#8217; sugar, if desired.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong>\u00a018<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Pepperidge Farms<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes, big desserts are just too much&#8230;so\u00a0 these easy-to-make, individually-sized cheesecakes with a puff pastry crust. give you just\u00a0 bite of sweet.\u00a0 Or, imagine a tray of tartlets with strawberry, kiwi, orange, cherry, crushed toffy, or&#8230;or&#8230;or.
