You can mix wine with other stuff &#8211; juices, fruits, etc.\u00a0 The wine will not freeze, but the rest of the stuff will.\u00a0 Some recipes just put everything in the blender with ice cubes, but a real slushy\u00a0 starts with frozen wine<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Here is the original recipe I got from a Lady Luncheon in the 60&#8217;s<\/em><em>. None of the ingredients exist now!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Barbara&#8217;s Slush<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 bottle Thunderbird<\/li>\n<li>1 bottle Wink<\/li>\n<li>pink food coloring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mix and freeze.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Straight Slush<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredients-container wprm-block-text-normal\">\n<p class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-ingredients-header wprm-block-text-bold\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-group\">\n<ul class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredients\">\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient\"><span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-amount\"><span class=\"wprm-adjustable\">12<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-unit\">ounces<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"wprm-recipe-ingredient-name\">wine , your choice of type and flavor<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions-container wprm-block-text-normal\">\n<p class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-bold\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-bold\">Pour wine in ice cube trays.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-bold\">Freeze until firm, at least\u00a0<span class=\"wprm-timer\" data-seconds=\"240\">4 hours<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-bold\">Take wine cubes out of tray and place in immersion stick blender or regular blender.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-bold\">Pulse a few times until wine cubes are crushed up and of a slushie-like consistently.<\/li>\n<li class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-instructions-header wprm-block-text-bold\">Pour into a glass and enjoy on a beautiful sunny day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Red Wine Slush<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"recipe-print__by\">Recipe By:<\/span>Carey2103\u00a0 &#8220;Another great way to enjoy a glass of red wine. I had this once at a state fair and was hooked.
