{"id":825,"date":"2014-10-18T05:34:56","date_gmt":"2014-10-18T11:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=825"},"modified":"2016-02-17T05:05:29","modified_gmt":"2016-02-17T12:05:29","slug":"key-lime-cheesecake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/key-lime-cheesecake.html","title":{"rendered":"\u00a0Key Lime Cheesecake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\"><em>We did a taste test. \u00a0I made this with regular limes and key limes &#8211; no one could tell the difference!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>Crust Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 c graham cracker crumbs, crushed (approximately 2 sleeves)<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc c sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Crust Directions:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Butter a 10 inch spring form pan, bottom and sides.<\/li>\n<li>Combine crumbs, melted butter, and \u00bc cup sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Press evenly over bottom and half way up the sides of the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 375\u00b0 for 7 \u2013 8 minutes (no longer.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Filling Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, room temperature<\/li>\n<li>1 c sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 c sour cream<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc c flour<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>\u00be c key lime juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Filling Directions:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cream room temperature cream cheese well.<\/li>\n<li>Add sugar and cream until smooth, scraping sides and bottom of bowl frequently.<\/li>\n<li>Cream in sour cream, eggs, flour and vanilla.<\/li>\n<li>When smooth once more, stir in lime juice.<\/li>\n<li>Pour over prepared crust.<\/li>\n<li>Return to 375\u00b0oven for 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Lower temperature to 250\u00b0 and continue baking 50 minutes more.<\/li>\n<li>Cool on wire rack in pan for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Run a knife around edge to loosen cheese cake, but do not remove from pan.<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.<\/li>\n<li>May be garnished with sweetened whipped cream, lime zest or both.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Serves: <\/b>12<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Source: <\/b> food.com<\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We did a taste test. \u00a0I made this with regular limes and key limes &#8211; no one could tell the difference!
