{"id":879,"date":"2014-10-19T14:58:41","date_gmt":"2014-10-19T20:58:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=879"},"modified":"2016-02-11T14:16:46","modified_gmt":"2016-02-11T21:16:46","slug":"honey-sweet-buffalo-ribs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/honey-sweet-buffalo-ribs.html","title":{"rendered":"Honey Sweet Buffalo Ribs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"CENTER\">This is really easy and surprisingly good (if you can find buffalo ribs).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"CENTER\"><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cans beef broth (10.5 oz)<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 c honey mustard<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c honey<\/li>\n<li>1 c water<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c sweet barbecue sauce<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c maple syrup<\/li>\n<li>7-8 lbs buffalo (bison) back ribs (30 ribs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b> Sauce:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 c liquid from slow cooker<\/li>\n<li>4 Tab corn starch<\/li>\n<li>1 c water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large slow cooker, mix together the beef broth, honey mustard, honey, water, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and maple syrup.<\/li>\n<li>Slice ribs apart into single ribs, leaving an even amount of meat on each side of the bone.<\/li>\n<li>Place them into the slow cooker so that they are covered by the sauce. If there is not enough sauce, you may add a little water or beef broth to compensate.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and cook on high for 5 \u2013 7 hours, or until the meat falls easily from the bones.<\/li>\n<li>Remove 4 cups of liquid from the crock pot and place in sauce pan.<\/li>\n<li>Heat.<\/li>\n<li>Mix corn starch and water.<\/li>\n<li>Add to liquid and stir until thickened.<\/li>\n<li>Serve 3 ribs per plate and \u00bc cup of sauce over to coat<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Serves: <\/b>10<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><b>Source: <\/b> Linda&#8217;s Buffalo Meat Recipes<\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is really easy and surprisingly good (if you can find buffalo ribs).
