Crackers &#8211; topped with bacon and brown sugar &#8211; a yummy, sweet, and porky treat!\u00a0 Want a spicy-sweet flavor? Add a bit of ground black pepper or cayenne pepper over the <\/em><em>brown sugar.\u00a0 Bonus &#8211; you can freeze them and reheat.\u00a0 There are those who use parmesian cheese, but I can&#8217;t imagine it being as good as brown sugar.<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 package (13.7 oz.) club crackers (or any recutangler cracker)<\/li>\n<li>1 lb regular sliced bacon, cut into thirds<\/li>\n<li>brown sugar &#8211;\u00a0 don&#8217;t skimp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 250\u00b0 F.<\/li>\n<li id=\"wprm-recipe-42720-step-0-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\">\n<div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cover a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Arrange crackers on a rack over the baking sheet in a single layer.<\/li>\n<li>Top each cracker with 1\/3 slice bacon (to fit the top of the cracker).<\/li>\n<li>Evenly sprinkle plenty of brown sugar over the top.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 1 hour or more until browned and crisp.<\/li>\n<li>Serve warm or at room temperature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Yield:<\/strong> 36 Serving Size: 1 cracker (no one will eat just one!!)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Source:\u00a0 <\/strong>Nancy-Next-Door Oglesby and several on-line recipes<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Or wrap bacon, cut in half lengthwise, around the center of the cracker making sure to cover the entire cracker.<\/li>\n<li>Place the crackers on the rack with the bacon ends facing down.
