{"id":9421,"date":"2022-11-02T15:57:46","date_gmt":"2022-11-02T21:57:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/?p=9421"},"modified":"2023-12-20T03:31:58","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T10:31:58","slug":"cheesy-cheddar-lobster-dip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/margie\/cheesy-cheddar-lobster-dip.html","title":{"rendered":"Cheesy Cheddar Lobster Dip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Once the chopping is done this goes very quickly.\u00a0 You could also use langoustine, shrimp (especially bay shrimp &#8211; no chopping) or crab.\u00a0 You can substitute old bay, lemon pepper or any of your favorite seasoning combinations for the paprika.\u00a0 Make it different every time.\u00a0 A recipe is just a suggestion!\u00a0 Random, out of the box, thought &#8211; use this to stuff a small\/large Portobello mushroom.\u00a0 It can be frozen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 oz cooked lobster meat<\/li>\n<li>1 clove garlic minced<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc c chopped red onions<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp horseradish<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp smoked paprika<\/li>\n<li>sea salt and black pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>6 oz\u00a0 grated Cheddar cheese (I used Costo&#8217;s Mexican Blend)<\/li>\n<li>8 oz cream cheese softened<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c sour cream<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375 \u00b0.<\/li>\n<li>Chop the lobster finely, it has to be picked up on a chip.\u00a0 Or, not so finely, and serve it with crackers.<\/li>\n<li>In a mixing bowl combine the cream cheese and sour cream.<\/li>\n<li>Add the salt, pepper, horseradish, mustard and smoked paprika.<\/li>\n<li>Add the lobster, onion, garlic. most of the grated cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon mixture into an oven-safe baking dish, spreading mixture evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Lightly sprinkle remaining\u00a0 cheese on top.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with paprika.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 20-25 minutes at 375\u00b0 or until cheese is golden and bubbly.
