So Kitten had her 6-year-old checkup today. Did very well, in the groove for height and weight. No shots needed. Doesn’t need to come in for an exam for another couple of years.<\/p>\n

A couple of issues:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \nHer mouth is pretty small. Meaning adult teeth coming in are going to have a squeezalicious time. We already knew this. Alas, braces and other implements of oral destruction are in the cards for Kitten.<\/li>\n
  2. \nThere were renewed indicates that her vision wasn’t top-knotch. Simple tests came back 20\/40. Hrm. Given her genetics, it’s not a huge surprise, but … well, we’ll be scheduling an eye exam. And Katherine asked to stop by the optician on the way out of the clinic and found some Barbie glasses that weren’t too terribly sucky …<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
