It may, in fact, be slightly plugged with coffee grounds, with a large pool of boiling hot water and coffee floating above it which, when removed abruptly, will slosh all over your hand, burning it, and leading you to drop it on the floor, where it will splatter that same suspension of boiling hot water and coffee all over your pants legs, shoes,
