End of the Second Trimester, and Kitten got her report card. K-3 at her school get E\/S\/N\/U (Excellent\/Satisfactory\/Needs Improvement\/Unsatisfactory) grades.<\/p>\n

Highlights:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \nMaintaining an S+ in Reading. [She’s reading chapter books on her own.]<\/li>\n
  2. \nImproved from an S to S+ in Writing.<\/li>\n
  3. \nImproved from an S+ to an E in Math.<\/li>\n
  4. \nRemains at an E in Listening.<\/li>\n
  5. \nMaintaining an S in Speaking (which, given her speech issues, is pretty impressive).<\/li>\n
  6. \nMaintaining an E in Visual Arts. [She’s been doing some gorgeous art of late, including a ceramic owl plaque we’ve hung in the bathroom.]<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Everything else is an S. For Reading\/Writing\/Math, she’s “understanding at grade level.”<\/p>\n

    Katherine gives 100% effort in every aspect of the day. She takes pride in her work and it shows in the growth she has made.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
