Yikes.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter Storm Watch&#8230; which is in effect from <strong>this evening through Saturday morning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Scattered rain and snow showers will develop this evening before turning to all snow by midnight. In addition&#8230; strong northerly winds will develop with wind speeds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph possible&#8230; especially east of Interstate 25. There is a potential for 2 to 6 inches of snow from this storm&#8230; with the <strong>higher amounts east and south of the Denver area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Remember&#8230; a Winter Storm Watch means there is a <strong>potential for a hazardous winter weather event<\/strong> in and close to the watch area.
