Friday<\/strong>: I’m not sure what I did on Friday. Worked some. Played some in the afternoon and evening. Went to sleep.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Saturday<\/strong>: Saturday was Busy Errands Day, prepping for both the evening (Hungry Flock) and the Sunday (Fondue). Did some cleaning and straightening, including starting off with (gads) taking down the Christmas stuff. Yeah, I know. Bought some wine, bought some food, picked up some meds, all the usual running-around bits.<\/p>\n

The evening was Hungry Flock (progressive dinner party thang from our church) over at Sarah’s. Jackie was kind enough to offer to babysit Katherine, which gave us our first look at her new place post-move-in (and feel guilty about how holiday timing and the like meant we’d done diddly-squat to actually help with said move). Jackie comments on sitting for Katherine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dinner was nice, though it was a small group (and a very big dog — a long-legged St Bernard whose back came to my waist). Rescued the daughter (or Jackie, take your pick) and headed home.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Sunday<\/strong>: Went to church, and incidentally chatted with Fr Craig about the big article<\/a>. Did some more cleaning at home. Then … fondue!<\/a> with Jackie, Randy, and Stan.<\/p>\n

Monday<\/strong>: Worked from home, due to both Katherine’s school and her daycare at the school being closed for the holiday. Work was moderately productive (I didn’t fall any further behind), and toward the end of the day, Kitten and I baked cookies.<\/p>\n

Doyce and Kate and KK came over for pizza and chit-chat, which was quite nice.<\/p>\n

A pleasant rest-of-the-evening with Margie (my favorite company, though we have plenty of spiffy people over to visit), and then blessed sleep until the alarm went off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
