{"id":10767,"date":"2007-07-02T08:43:55","date_gmt":"2007-07-02T15:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/2007\/07\/02\/who-needs-laser-tag.html"},"modified":"2007-07-02T08:43:55","modified_gmt":"2007-07-02T15:43:55","slug":"who_needs_laser_tag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2007\/07\/02\/who_needs_laser_tag.html","title":{"rendered":"Who needs Laser Tag &#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you can play <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.wired.com\/geekdad\/2007\/07\/alka-seltzer-ta.html\" target=\"_blank\">Alka-Seltzer Tag<\/a> for (nearly) free and stay cool at the same time?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Set-up is very easy:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> drill a small hole through the center of an Alka-Seltzer tablet<\/li>\n<li> thread a string through the hole.&nbsp; Make sure the string is long enough to tie around a person&#8217;s neck so the Alka-Seltzer can be worn as a necklace.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li> have lots and lots and lots of water.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Then, the object of the game is to get the other person&#8217;s Alka-Seltzer wet.&nbsp; As the tablet reacts to the water, it will start foaming and eventually fall off the string.&nbsp; The last person with an Alka-Seltzer necklace is the winner.&nbsp; As an alternative, you can divide into teams instead of every-person-for-themselves.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The kids would love it.&nbsp; Some of the adults would, too, I suspect.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you can play Alka-Seltzer Tag for (nearly) free and stay cool at the same time?
