To my Mom, who taught me so much about love and compassion and humor and cooking and (believe it or not) cleaning.<\/p>\n

To my Nona, who taught me dignity and discipline as well as love.<\/p>\n

To my Mother-in-Law, a woman who shatters the cliché so soundly that there’s nothing to it save for some good-natured ribbing.<\/p>\n

To Margie, who is doing a great job being a mother to our daughter — she makes it a pleasure to be a parent with her.<\/p>\n
