When it came time to replace our old creaky food processor with something new and powerful, when we spotted a Black & Decker PowerPro II, well, that made perfect sense.<\/p>\n
Until, on one of its first outings, the plastic axle hole for the slicing\/grating blade broke. No apparent way to fix it — and, annoyingly, apparently no spare\/replacement parts are offered by B&D<\/strong> (or anyone else) for the thing. Believe me, I’ve looked. B&D has all sorts of suppliers for its power tool equipment line, but its home appliance line is, apparently, considered disposable.<\/p>\n Too bad.
