Katherine has been playing the kids’ MMORPG Club Penguin<\/a> off and on since she was hooked on it by her cousins, Nick and Alex, over the holidays.  Now Club Penguin’s being bought by Disney<\/a>.  Interesting.<\/p>\n

Actually, Katherine’s been doing a lot more online activities of late — actually learning through her summer day care at Franklin Friends, as they get to spend time on the computers in the library there.  She’s been coming home and playing games (and streaming video) off of Disney and Lego’s sites.  We still have her computer set up to require a password (from us) for any new page or site she wants to go to, so we’re monitoring things (in a fashion that will seem laughable in a few years) that way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
