Farscape<\/i> has microts, arns, <\/b>and other funny measurements.<\/a><\/p>\n

Battlestar: Galactica<\/i> had “felgercarb<\/b>” and other epithets.<\/p>\n

Farscape<\/i> has “frell<\/b>” and other epithets.<\/p>\n

So why was it so stupid on Battlestar: Galactica<\/i> but so cool on Farscape<\/i>?<\/p>\n

I mean, I know that Farscape<\/i> is very cool, and Battlestar: Galactica<\/i> is very stupid, just as a given.<\/p>\n

But I can clearly remember that everyone thought the ersatz language in Battlestar: Galactica<\/i> was also stupid. And everyone seems to think the same thing in Farscape<\/i> is very cool, to the extent that I know of people (including my sainted wife) who, with a straight face, use the word “frell” in conversation.<\/p>\n
