So Time <\/em>has announced Vladimir Putin as their “Person of the Year.”<\/a>  I’m not sure about the choice — but I’m hard-pressed to think of another “influencer” of the same sort in the last year, and it beats the hell out of “You” or “The American Soldier” or “The Endangered Earth” or some of the past years’ goofiness<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
