Alex Potpourri, take ll \/><\/div>\n<p>It is way past time I cleared off some tabs from my Firefox &#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Harrumph.&nbsp; I purchased a copy of <a href=\"http:\/\/tenmilesoftware.com\/ContactsPlus\/contactsplus.html\" target=\"_blank\">Contacts Plus<\/a> as a way to use my Outlook address book without loading Outlook.&nbsp; Now I find out that (a) it&#8217;s no longer being supported (though that does mean it&#8217;s available for free), (b) it actually loads a portion of Outlook to access the data file (probably less overall footprint, but it does mean it takes a while to load it up), and (c) it doesn&#8217;t support Cateogories, which rendered it a lot less useful when it came time to print Christmas Card labels (though it does have good label support).<\/li>\n<li> Speaking of Outlook, here&#8217;s an interesting service I&#8217;ve seen recommended for <a href=\"http:\/\/oggsync.com\/index.php\/documentation-for-outlook-add-in\/detailed-feature-chart-for-outlook\/\" target=\"_blank\">syncing Outlook and Google Calendars<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp; Marking as a reference for later review.<\/li>\n<li> And speaking of Outlook,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.techhit.com\/SimplyFile\/screenshots.html\" target=\"_blank\">SimplyFile<\/a> is about 80% of what I want from a mail system &#8212; an add-on to Outlook that looks at how you move mail into folders and develops its own rules about it to do it for you.&nbsp; Except it doesn&#8217;t &#8212; it simply suggests a folder and lets you do the click to do it.&nbsp; Not good enough &#8230;<\/li>\n<li> How to attach <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thistothat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">this to that<\/a>.&nbsp;<em> &#8220;Because people have a need to glue things to other things.&#8221;<\/em> <\/li>\n<li> As we were sitting through Nona&#8217;s funeral (etc.) this week, my thoughts turned to my own &#8212; not in a morbid fashion, but in a planning fashion.&nbsp; I&#8217;ve already started scribbling down hymns I particularly like (Margie knows where the list is), but I&#8217;ve not done any thinking about readings or anything.&nbsp; Bookmarking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.episcosours.com\/?p=600\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>&nbsp;to go back and look.&nbsp; Being Episcopalian, there&#8217;s all sorts of interesting (to me) liturgical bits available for such things.&nbsp; Not that I expect I&#8217;ll be terribly interested in what&#8217;s going on after I shuffle off this mortal coil &#8212; but I have an interest in it <em>now,<\/em> y&#8217;know?&nbsp; Oh, and I want a huge marble tomb marker, with lots of weeping angels and everything, okay?&nbsp; And a huge party &#8230;<\/li>\n<li> The readings will probably not include the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cracked.com\/article_15699_9-most-badass-bible-verses.html\" target=\"_blank\">Nine Most Bad-Ass Bible Verses<\/a>, however <small>(via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.decrepitoldfool.com\/index.php\/weblog\/bible_verses08dec07\/\" target=\"_blank\">DOF<\/a>)<\/small>.<\/li>\n<li> Yes, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/With_Every_Heartbeat\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a> is one of Margie&#8217;s Swedish cousins.&nbsp; Had an inquiry about the domain name recently from a rep.<\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/members.aol.com\/yahyam\/coincidence.html\" target=\"_blank\">Linguistic coincidences<\/a>.&nbsp; Didn&#8217;t I already post that?<\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.wsj.com\/informedreader\/2007\/11\/19\/wwii-pows-perk-monopoly-with-real-money\/\" target=\"_blank\">Monopoly with Real Money<\/a> &#8212; in World War II.<\/li>\n<li> Cool &#8212; a <a href=\"http:\/\/studiofoglio.com\/Merchant2\/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&amp;Product_Code=STF207&amp;Category_Code=MythAdventures\" target=\"_blank\">new hardcover edition<\/a> of the Aspirin\/Foglio <em>MythAdventures<\/em> graphic novels.<\/li>\n<li> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/globe\/ideas\/articles\/2007\/07\/08\/god_and_country\/?page=full\" target=\"_blank\">What it means to be a Christian after George W.
