New series, good stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Good (4 stars out of 5)\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars4.jpg\" width=\"78\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>The Mighty Avengers <\/em>#9<\/strong>:&nbsp; Pretty Cho, but Bendis&#8217; story will work better in a trade paperback.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Good (4 stars out of 5)\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars4.jpg\" width=\"78\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>The Brave and the Bold<\/em> #7<\/strong>:&nbsp; George Perez manages to give us a busty PG who doesn&#8217;t look like a freak.&nbsp; And WW and Supes look pretty good, too.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Good (4 stars out of 5)\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars4.jpg\" width=\"78\" \/><strong><em>Powers <\/em>#26<\/strong>:&nbsp; Good as usual, but still too small a chunk of too busy a tale.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Poor (2 stars out of 5)\" height=\"21\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars2.jpg\" width=\"40\" \/><strong><em>Action <\/em>#857<\/strong>:&nbsp; If there is a God, this will be the last Bizarro story for, oh, a decade or two.&nbsp; &#8216;Nuff said.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Fair (3 stars of 5)\" height=\"19\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars3.jpg\" width=\"57\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>Teen Titans <\/em>#52<\/strong>:&nbsp; A nice, if busy plot, and attractive art.&nbsp; A bit too much sound and fury.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Fair (3 stars of 5)\" height=\"19\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars3.jpg\" width=\"57\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>Black Panther <\/em>#31<\/strong>:&nbsp; More FF-era action (new and old),with the annoying Golden Frogs.&nbsp; Still, not bad.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Good (4 stars out of 5)\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars4.jpg\" width=\"78\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>Thunderbolts<\/em> #117<\/strong>:&nbsp; The grim, gritty, nasty, human&nbsp;bits of the Initiative\/Civil War.&nbsp; Good Warren Ellis stuff.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Good (4 stars out of 5)\" height=\"18\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars4.jpg\" width=\"78\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>She-Hulk<\/em> #22<\/strong>:&nbsp; Peter David takes over.&nbsp; A decent first ish of an intentionally different era.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Fair (3 stars of 5)\" height=\"19\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars3.jpg\" width=\"57\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>Countdown <\/em>#27<\/strong>:&nbsp; Still interested, but the independent bits aren&#8217;t nearly as good or interesting as <em>52<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Poor (2 stars out of 5)\" height=\"21\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars2.jpg\" width=\"40\" \/><strong><em><\/em><\/strong>X-Men<\/em> #204<\/strong>:&nbsp; How could Mike Carey be so good on Lucifer and so bad on this?&nbsp; On the other hand, I don&#8217;t think anyone can do much with the <em>X-Men<\/em> any more &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Fair (3 stars of 5)\" height=\"19\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/images\/stars3.jpg\" width=\"57\" \/><strong><em>Supeman<\/em> #669<\/strong>:&nbsp;
