No, not that<\/i> X-15. This<\/i> X-15 — a tricycle from Mattel in the early 60s (named after the famous test aircraft, https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/North_American_X-15<\/a>). I actually had one of these as a kid, and it was awesome. There was a "vroom" sound effect when the front wheel was turned, and the joystick actually moved the rear wheels for purposes of steering.<\/p>\n

Actually, it was heavy as sin (all metal construction), and the steering was a lot more difficult than a normal trike, but damn<\/i> it was cool.<\/p>\n

I had mine when I was in the 1st Grade, based on where I remember playing with it. I have no idea what happened to it — I'm not sure it made the move with us from Northern to Southern California. But it was the most distinctive tricycle out there at the time.<\/p>\n
