I was going to bail on game night last evening, not feeling up to a D&D-fest, but Katherine was seriously disappointed (which made me feel good and bad at the same time). So I compromised and we broke out the Munchkin game. Fun had by all. It was good reading exercise, she thought the cards were hilarious (if a bit racy in places), and she ended up winning (with not that much help).<\/p>\n

(I was greatly amused by having my character draw, as his first monster, a Level 9 Cat-Girl.)<\/p>\n

Also on deck for a D&D substitute is Talisman. I do plan to get back to the D&D (really-truly), but it’s good to know there are other things.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
