They certainly have some damned good voice talent for it.<\/p>\n<p>2. The CG animal stuff &#8230; remains to be seen. There&#39;s a fine line (or uncanny valley) between believable animals and the talking characters Kipling (and, later, Disney) described. Some of that didn&#39;t seem to quite gel yet. But, then, I&#39;m not sure I&#39;ve seen something like this before. <\/p>\n<p>3. In case you&#39;re wondering the extent to which this will harken back to the animated version &#8230; there are some lines and just a <i>bit<\/i> of music that answer that question.<\/p>\n<p>4. That said, the teaser-trailer is awfully dark and suspenseful.
