I consulted with my primary advisor (+<\/span>Margie Kleerup<\/a><\/span>) about my NaNoWriMo dilemma (what to do, what to do), and she strongly urged me to do something fun.<\/p>\n

So, booyah, fun!<\/p>\n

Welcome to the first volume of The Scarlet Throne:<\/i> "Heir Apparent," a space opera full of politics, aliens, flashing swords, swooshing starships, and the throne of a galactic Empire hanging in the balance.<\/p>\n

I'm not quite having fun yet, but I've enjoyed doing some worldbuilding. And the fun will, I suspect, come.<\/p>\n
