Having Hollywood start to work with China to (a) combine paranoia about sex with paranoia about dissent and the supernatural, (b) instill humor that translates well to both American and Chinese audiences, (c) get competed out of business.<\/p>\n

Certainly there's irony that, having dominated the world box office for so long, an American would be whining about another country taking over that place and dictate what sorts of movies we'll all be watching (the French are all pointing and laughing at us). But it's still … not promising.<\/p>\n

On the bright side, it might mean more Asian talent gets to work in US movies, so there's that.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
