Most are surrounded by a div element (for the drop shadow &#8212; thanks again, Ginny), which seems to work just fine.<\/p>\n<p>But in Google Reader, strange things happen with the feed of my entries:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> In Firefox 3, the picture shows up for a brief moment, then vanishes, causing the drop shadow to vanish (dwindle to zero dimensions).<\/li>\n<li> In IE 6, the drop shadow box shows up, but the image inside is &#8220;broken&#8221; and doesn&#8217;t display. A view of the properties shows the URL is correct, and, when pasted on the address line, pulls up the picture.<\/li>\n<li> In Chrome, just like IE 6. An inspection of the object looks okay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The original pages show up okay (with images) in just the plain old browser.<\/p>\n<p>Flickr objects, inside those same&nbsp;div elements, display fine.&nbsp;&nbsp;The feed from&nbsp;my Blog of Heroes blog, which doesn&#8217;t use those divs, displays&nbsp;images fine.<\/p>\n<p>So &#8230; anyone have any idea of what&#8217;s broken?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I post a fair number of pictures in my blog entries.
