{"id":12942,"date":"2008-09-03T23:03:59","date_gmt":"2008-09-04T06:03:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/wp\/2008\/09\/03\/playing-with-chrome.html"},"modified":"2008-09-03T23:03:59","modified_gmt":"2008-09-04T06:03:59","slug":"playing_with_chrome","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2008\/09\/03\/playing_with_chrome.html","title":{"rendered":"Playing with Chrome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I downloaded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/chrome\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chrome<\/a> this afternoon and ran it for a while.<\/p>\n<p>Good stuff:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Yes, it seems faster.<\/li>\n<li> It renders some pages\/screens that Firefox chokes on.<\/li>\n<li> The interface is, indeed, nice and clean.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Bad stuff:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> It glitches on some CSS on my blog which Firefox and IE7&nbsp;handle as I expect&nbsp;them to.<\/li>\n<li> No AdBlock. Or FlashBlock. It took me a very short time to realize that, and realize how important that is to my browsing experience.<\/li>\n<li> No support (for the moment) for RoboForm, which is a password store on steroids and probably the most useful add-on I have to FireFox (it works on IE, too), bar none.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>So &#8230; no plans to change over any time soon.
