Because it's obvious<\/i> that you can't trust Big Medicine and Big Science because Reasons! So if your doctor says your infant should get a shot of Vitamin K to prevent brain bleeding, obviously<\/i> she's lying to you and you should not<\/i> get Little Billy such a shot! And if you find an article on the Internet that breathlessly talks about Vitamin K shots causing leukemia (right next to the articles talking about how vaccines cause autism), then obviously<\/i> it must be true!. Because shots are unnatural<\/i> and make babies cry<\/i> so obviously<\/i> they must be evil and contaminating Little Billy's Precious Bodily Fluids! And probably causing an imbalance of humours, too!<\/p>\n

[You can take it as a sign of how strongly I feel about this that I would put a picture of an injection needle on one of my posts, because I freaking hate<\/i> needles. But I don't let that visceral and largely irrational fear stop me from doing what is medically necessary, for myself or my child, duh.]<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
