I'm not sorry to see Christie drop out of the race, as I find him a generally unpleasant individual, even if he did hug President Obama. I do feel a little sorry for him, since his campaign strategy of being blunt and bullying to the point of offense got completely overwhelmed by Trump out-blunting and out-bullying him.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, I'm also glad he's dropping out because I was getting so<\/i> tired of people — including a lot of otherwise liberal \/ progressive \/ ostensibly sensitive folk — making incessant fun of the man's weight, completely oblivious to the irony of then being angry over folk criticizing Clinton's age or gender. Not a lot of class in those criticisms, regardless of the person to whom they were directed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
