The newest version of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/calendar\/bin\/answer.py?answer=98563&amp;cbid=-n1u1eg5hy5ls&amp;src=cb&amp;lev=topic\" target=\"_blank\">GCalSync<\/a> is working without crashing my Outlook. It takes forever and a day for a sync cycle to complete, but it works.<\/p>\n<p>So now I have a separate &#8220;Pointy-Haired Dave&#8221; calendar next to my other GCals that I can toggle on and off to see some work activity conflicts when looking at my home calendars.<\/p>\n<p>Except &#8230; it&#8217;s still not picking up (this is a known and long-term problem) some (a few) meetings where I am an invitee don&#8217;t sync. Things I create are fine; things I don&#8217;t &#8230; sometimes aren&#8217;t. This (and the support) have gotten better since <a href=\"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2008\/03\/07\/syncing_feeling_3.html\" target=\"_blank\">earlier versions<\/a>, but it&#8217;s still a bit annoying.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the whole thing is pretty keen, so if it&#8217;s working at 95%, I&#8217;m not going to complain <em>too <\/em>bitterly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, first the good news.
