Why?<\/p>\n<p>This article lines out some of the reasons: the ego of the other candidates in the race, the &quot;long game&quot; strategies of major donors, a wait-and-see attitude ..<\/p>\n<p>But the one not mentioned is the most important: the fear that he might actually <i>win<\/i> in November and wreak his vengeance on those who stood against him.
