If this were anyone but Kevin Smith, I'd be running headlong the other direction, but I think he has just the amount of love for the source material and zaniness to maybe make this work.<\/p>\n

Also, the idea of having Season 1 be the original movie (with added backstory and stuff), and Season 2 being the promised-but-never-made sequel, is pretty awesome.<\/p>\n

The devil is in the details, of course, but I'll be watching for more news on this.<\/p>\n
