But here&#39;s the #1 reason I&#39;m excited to become Doc Savage.. HE&#39;S A F*CKING HILARIOUS WEIRDO! Confidently, yet innocently he has zero social graces whatsoever due to his upbringing so every interaction he has with someone is direct, odd, often uncomfortable and amazingly hilarious.&#39;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>I wouldn&#39;t expect Clark Savage to be an accomplished courtier, certainly not through any desire to curry favor or climb social circles. On the other hand I&#39;d expect him to have an experienced grounding in social etiquette and mores across a hundred global cultures, from a rain forest tribe to US society, , not to mention a personal charisma that overcomes a lot else. Playing up a socially awkward aspect in a &quot;hilarious&quot; way seems a potential avenue for disaster, a &quot;laughing at&quot; vs &quot;laughing with&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>It&#39;s not necessarily a problem &#8212; Captain America as &quot;a man out of time&quot; gets some of the same humor poked at him.
