Well, the trip to Portland is going pretty well thus far, though we’ve made far less progress than hoped for, in terms of agenda items — though the progress we have made has been solid and helpful. <\/p>\n
Not getting enough exercise, of course, esp. for the amount of food we’re eating at dinner (though breakfast remains optional (and skipped by me) and lunch is a mixed bag). I suspect a lot of compression of the agenda today, since the Boss Man leaves tonight and we follow in the morning.<\/p>\n
This trip has, for me, also had more peripheral complications and problems, i.e., phone calls I need to be on outside of meeting hours, drama going on while I’m driving a van full of peers and boss to see [a cloud covering] Mount St. Helens, etc. That’s seriously impacted both relaxation time outside of the meetings, and actually getting as much sleep as I’d like — doing an hour-plus of emails after getting back to the hotel, then doing an hour of emails plus an hour-long phonecon before meetings start, seriously impact sleep time (plus the whole “hey, didn’t you used to have a blog?” thing).<\/p>\n
