The issue is not so much whether what Colin Powell did was wrong or dangerous, or whether Clinton is exonerated by the advice she got from him, but …<\/p>\n

1. Did the State Department and their IT security people provide the tools that the executives in the department needed in order to get their jobs done (exercising the discretion and authority that those executives traditionally have had)?<\/p>\n

2. Are repeated, ongoing, relentless, repetitive, Javert-esque GOP investigations into the whole Clinton email thang driven by a deep, abiding, patriotic concern over the security of our nation's secrets, or are they just a political hack job against a prominent opponent of the other party?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
