Since the conservative Arizona Republic<\/i> newspaper endorsed, for the first time, a Democrat for president [http:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/opinion\/editorial\/2016\/09\/27\/hillary-clinton-endorsement\/91198668\/<\/a>], reporters and the publisher have received accusations of being traitors, death threats, reminders of previously assassinated journalists, promises of damnation, and warnings that they will be shut down under a new administration. Young folk going door to door soliciting subscriptions have been spat upon, screamed at, and threatened with violence.<\/p>\n

This is the paper's response.<\/p>\n

And, no, not all Trump supporters are having "deplorable" reactions like this. But enough are to be called out about it. And enough are that their candidate should be doing something about it. Instead, he's just egging them on.<\/p>\n
