Margie and I served a shift this afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch our church holds each year (http:\/\/gshep.org\/pumpkinpatch<\/a>). It was a pretty busy time — we always had 1-5 families circulating around the patch with wagons the entire three hour period — but a lot of fun. <\/p>\n

[Personal advert follows:]<\/p>\n

The pumpkins are purchased from a farm down on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico, and all proceeds from our sales go to a variety of charities serving the hungry and homeless in the Denver Metro area (http:\/\/gshep.org\/content\/pumpkin-patch-helps-area-charities<\/a>). <\/p>\n

The patch is open every day from now until Halloween from 10am to dusk. If you happen to be in the south metro area of Denver (https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/67DgoKQSeSR2<\/a>), and are in the market for pumpkins for Halloween, I hope you'll stop by.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
