His acceptance speech was level, and included gracious notes toward Hillary Clinton. His meeting with Barack Obama seemed civil, even pleasant.<\/p>\n<p>My immediate thought: <i>Trump can be nice and polite when nobody is challenging him.<\/i> One of the most noteworthy aspects of his campaign behavior was how he reacted to attacks: with denials and counter-attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Aaaand now somebody&#39;s challenging him &#8212; protesters in a number of American cities. So, naturally, he&#39;s back on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#39;Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!&#39;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Nice delegitimizing of what appear to have been pretty spontaneous protests.
