I've seen a lot of footage of the protests<\/i> going on in various cities over Trump's winning of the presidency. Very little of it resembles what the word "riot" implies (and much of that seems trumped, so to speak, by post-sportsball championship shenanigans).<\/p>\n

But looking at the bigger and more meaningful picture here … well, I have to pass you on to +<\/span>Les Jenkins<\/a><\/span>, who has neatly dived into several threads of thought that were banging about my head the past few days about differences (and similarities) between how the citizenry react when a Democrat loses vs a Republican losing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
