And because no spoilers, I will need to be brief.<\/p>\n

1. Yes, this is the Star Wars<\/i> movie I was looking for.<\/p>\n

2. Seamlessly meshes into the overall saga while being a powerful story in its own right.<\/p>\n

3. Wars and rebellions are not pretty things made of of glossy white plastic and noble, jocular heroes.<\/p>\n

4. Michael Giacchino is a musical god. <\/p>\n

5. It's 40 years since A New Hope.<\/i> As a result, certain things were done. I am mulling those things over, but overall I think they were effective. Disturbing, but effective. More on that another time soon.<\/p>\n

6. See it spoiler-freeish while you can, because Stuff Will Come Out pretty darned quickly. Regardless, see it, if you have any interest in Star Wars.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
