{"id":133446,"date":"2017-05-10T21:50:28","date_gmt":"2017-05-11T03:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2017\/05\/10\/sometimes-the-truth-actually-slips-out.html"},"modified":"2017-05-11T07:13:11","modified_gmt":"2017-05-11T13:13:11","slug":"sometimes-the-truth-actually-slips-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2017\/05\/10\/sometimes-the-truth-actually-slips-out.html","title":{"rendered":"Sometimes the truth actually slips out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ideological philosophy is often couched in highfalutin words, spoken of in a distant and third-person structure, that obfuscates the actual meaning of what&#39;s being said.<\/p>\n<p>And sometimes, the truth just sort of blurts out.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#39;As [Utah GOP Senator Orrin Hatch] left a meeting in the Capitol of the Senate health care working group, which is trying to craft compromise legislation that can pass the Senate without Democrats, Hatch was asked by a reporter, &quot;How does the public&#39;s perception of what the House did affect what you are doing?&quot;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>&quot;<strong>The public wants every dime they can be given,&quot; he said. &quot;Let&#39;s face it, once you get them on the dole, they&#39;ll take every dime they can.<\/strong> We&#39;ve got to find some way of getting things under control or this country and your future is going to be gone.&quot;&#39;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Hey, Sen.
